TEST CONTROL AS A MODERN APPROACH TO THE FORMATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF PROSTHETIC DENTISTRY

Abstract
Nowadays test control is very popular in Ukraine. It is used in addition to traditional methods of knowledge control in higher educational institutions at various specialties. Test control provides the establishment of the level of success of individual students in general; allows the teacher to judge the quality of mastering topics, plan his work and correct methods of material study timely. It helps to improve students’ preparation due to performing tasks by repeating, systematization and clarification of the material. Thus, students enrich their understanding of the subject. Control of knowledge, abilities and skills of students is an integral part of the pedagogical process and feedback forms at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry. Feedback is the most reliable in the successful combination of all forms of control: current grades, formative assessment, final control, initial and final assessment of students’? knowledge. Test control contributes to deeper knowledge mastering, learning new abilities and skills. Testing and evaluation provide information about the level of students’ knowledge and skills. It allows to analyze how effective learning technologies, forms, methods and tools using in teaching are.?
