Abstract
The objective of this paper is to implement new methods and techniques which will improve the quality of teaching pharmaceutical students into the educational process. This paper deals with the problems of teaching Biology including the basics of Genetics to pharmaceutical students under conditions of credit-modular system of organization of training process. There have been made the proposals regarding the implementation of new information technologies into the teaching process, interrelation of research work and extension of students’ knowledge. This article reasons the necessity to develop new methods and forms of interaction between teacher and student, encourage students’ individual work, such as: preparing speeches to be presented at the meetings of the Students’ Scientific Society (SSS) and students’ conferences; preparing? educational slide films, case studies, tables, charts; students’ research work (SRW) and others. Learning Biology including the basics of Genetics forms coherent picture of the most general and basic developmental laws of nature, provides fundamental training of clinical pharmacist and acquiring practical skills for professional activity in the fields of applied medicine and pharmacy.
