Abstract

72 Wistar rats’ stomachs were examined in order to study the features of the dynamics of the lymphoid cells content and distribution in the newborns rats’ gastric mucosa in normal. Morphometric, histological and statistical methods were used. The most significant changes in the composition of different populations of immune cells of the gastric mucosa lymphoid tissue was found to occur within the first three weeks after birth, when antigen load on the stomach increases in the form of new food ingredients. Changes in the number of lymphocytes are undulating with maximum increase in their content on 14 - 21 days. The obtained data present the activity of the immune response to increase in food antigens and changes in the diet type in the early postnatal ontogenesis.?
