Abstract
A. N. Whitehead is a influential philosopher who affected on contemporary thought. As a thinker of process philosophy, Whitehead, in parallel with his theological thoughts, handles his socio-cultural thoguhts in the context of process philosophy. In this frame, one topic he treats is civilisation. According to him, the importance of civilization emerges in self-realization of individual and the civilisation reachs its peak by education. In this article, we will try to show his thought concerning civilisation, particularly his approach to the matter of civlisation, in the context of process philosophy.
