Abstract
The model of sugar diabetes was induced in Wistar rats via i.p. streptozotocin (50,0 mg/kg) administration. In 1,5 months from the moment of streptozotocin the activity of glutathioneperoxidase was reduced by 42,0% and such one of glutathionereductase ? by 33,0% when compared with corresponded data in intact rats. Electrical stimulations (ES) (100 Hz) of paleocerebellum (V-VII lobules), which have been delivered during months three times per day effectively prevented the diabetes-induced reduction of activuity of antioxidant enzymes.
