Abstract
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) is a system consists of mobile nodes that act as autonomous. The Network without any fixed infrastructure and there is no centralized management in this networks. Congestion is one of the most important challenges facing this networks, which is causing several problems. Delay and packet loss when the stations are not able to get the information because of overcrowding, are the results of congestion. In this paper, a method for congestion control is proposed that uses the AOMDV algorithm. In this method using the length of the queue of nodes, obtained routes with less traffic and basis on congestion of the founded routes, the load is distributed between them. The results of the simulation shows a decrease delay and queue length of nodes and packet loss rate and increase the throughput of the network.
