Abstract
The paper presents the method to implement lean in the raw mill separator air slide, an equipment used in cement industry. Lean is a philosophy that is driven by the ideas to eliminate the non-value activities or components in any process. Hence, in this paper, some modifications in the raw mill separator air slide are carried out in order to eliminate the non-value components in the equipment. The elimination is done to reduce the overall cost of the equipment and make the process cost effective.
