Abstract
The present study deals with the construction of the buildings that shelter the National Art Museum in Chişinău (Vladimir Herţa's house, lawyer Moise Kligman's house), with the creation of art collections in the Republic of Moldova and with the evolution of the National Art Museum of Moldova and its patrimony.
