Abstract
ABSTRACT Doxycycline is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat many different bacterial infections, such as acne, urinary tract infections, intestinal infections, eye infections, gonorrhea, chlamydia, periodontitis (gum disease) etc. Outdated or unused Doxycycline hydrochloride may not safe and should be thrown out if there is any leftover. As a regular practice, many times unused, or expired Doxcycline discard in the toilet, but this method may not be any safer than throwing in the garbage because it can contaminate water. Deposing of Doxycycline is a foremost problem in today’s pharmaceutical Industries. Therefore in the present study unused Doxycycline Hydrochloride Drug utilised in textile processing for dyeing of jute fabric. This can keep disused Doxycycline medication from being illegitimately abused or sold. This method can efficiently use to solve two major environmental and economical troubles: limitation of environmental pollution with pharmaceutically active compounds and lessening of the disposal costs of disused drugs.
