Abstract
In the present work a fractal antenna is designed for enhance bandwidth which is used for WLAN, WiMAX. For making the proposed fractal antenna multiple slots (plus shape, staircase and square slots) are repeated in such a manner that it makes a Sierpinski gasket design. This antenna shows wideband behavior due to self-similarity in their structure. Proposed Antenna achieves wide bandwidth ranging from 2.231 GHz to 3.529 GHz. This antenna utilized dielectric substrate which has dielectric constant 4.4 and thickness 1.6 mm. Proposed antenna show percentages bandwidth 44.60 and it offer gain 3.05dB, directivity 3.32dB and antenna efficiency 85.04% at resonant frequency 2.62 GHz.
