Methodical approach to determination of the rational zone of plying of a separate suburban passenger train

The method of determining the efficiency of a separate commuter train is developed which will reduce the loss-making of suburban communication in Ukraine. Methodical approach to determination of the optimal zones of suburban trains plying is improved through the establishment of a rational distance of the route, depending on the average trip length of passengers and their average number during the year, which in its turn will significantly reduce operating costs and ill improve transport efficiency.
