ORGANIZATION SYSTEM OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT IN UKRAINE ON NATIONAL AND REGIONAL LEVELS, AT INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT STAGES

This article describes the facilities of inpatient and outpatient care and rehabilitation for men suffering from alcohol dependence. The analysis of the existing system of substance abuse treatment in Ukraine on the national and regional levels, at outpatient and inpatient stages was performed. The author describes the recommendations for reforming and renewal of care for alcohol-dependent persons in Ukraine (monitoring the quality of service provided to patients with alcohol dependence and their families, creation of transparent mechanisms for continuance and coordination between agencies and services in the field of alcohol-abuse prevention and care, creation of universal electronic database of patients with alcohol dependence with the system of personal information protection, involvement of family and social environment in the process of abused person treatment, etc.).
