Abstract
Despite significant advances in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia in younger patients, treatment of elderly patients is a great concern, primarily due to poor portability regimes containing purine analogues and presence of chronic renal failure. New preparation of bendamustine combines the properties of alkylating compounds and analogues of purines. Great advantage of bendamustine is low toxicity. The article presents data on the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy with bendamustine and rituximab in the first and subsequent lines of therapy of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. This article presents clinical cases of successful application of this combination.
