Abstract
The goal of the literature review is to present current data of epidemiological, clinical, experimental studies related to the role of trigger factors in the pathogenesis of psoriasis associated with cardiovascular disease. The epidemiology of psoriasis, role of genetic factors, influence of vitamin D and endothelin in the pathogenesis of this disease are described in detail. For this purpose 40 Russian and English language literature sources were analyzed.
