ETHNOCULTURAL CONNOTATION OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS FOR REFUSAL TO MATCHMAKERS (ON THE MATERIAL OF UKRAINIAN EAST SLOBODA AND STEPPE DIALECTS)

The article is devoted to ritual phraseology of before wedding cycle of ceremonies of marriage brokerage stage. Phraseological units for refusal designation to marriage brokers are analyzed. The phraseology of Ukrainian east Slobozhanska and steppe dialects is the object of research; the subject is ethnocultural connotation of phraseological units for refusal designation to marriage brokers. The research objective is to study the sources of national and cultural connotation and ways of its realization in phraseological units for refusal designation to marriage brokers. The analysis is carried out with attraction of data about the stage of the before wedding ceremonies in other Ukrainian dialects, and also separate Slavic languages and dialects.
