Abstract
The common reason of the unbalanced machines is nonhomogeneous distribution of rotor mass along radial direction. The unbalanced mass is company with the rotor and they rotate together. The unbalance occuring on the rotor becomes more problem when its source continuously changes. Unbalanced mass which changes actively, produces the motive of active balancing. In machines operating in high speed such as CD ?ROM, DVD, HDD and washing machines, the unbalanced mass changes at any time; therefore, active balancing is more convenient in these machines. In this study circular balancing was as an alternative to the ball type balancing studied. As a balancer Active Balancing Ring (ABR) was used. After modelling the system, motion equations were governed Lagrange equations. After the equations were linearized an analytical solution was obtained.
