Abstract
Since the internet entered daily life, studies and applications regarding remote access and control have grown and developed rapidly. Remote access and control is an application by means of which we utilize laboratorial sources and devices without being physically in laboratory. One of the growing and widespreading study areas in this regard is remote access and control laboratories which became popular recently. Remote access laboratories are applications in which researchers and students around the world can access laboratorial devices, experiment by software, acquire result and even see live video stream of laboratory via internet. Therefore, student, without being in laboratories physically, can get logical circuit experiments by software which are crucial for Electrical and Electronic Engineering education and observe results. Studies which are made by use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), increase application aims by broadening advantages of these laboratories. In this study, a literature search was performed on FPGA based remote accessible digital system laboratories. By giving information in respect of studies in literature, these studies were classified, contrasted and commented according to different techniques used in applications.
