Abstract
The results of laboratory tests of samples of surface hardness, hardened by the static-pulsed treatment (SIO), depending on the different modes of treatment. The analysis of the results in comparison with other methods of hardening. The obtained experimental data indicate that the hardened surface reaches a depth of 7-8 mm on the sample.
