Alcohol parasuicides: clinical typology and peculiarities of acute withdrawal status

Abstract
The issue presents the phenomenon of alcohol parasuicides. There are 4 forms of alcohol parasuicides: impulsive, depressive, manipulative and psychotic. The article gives their characteristics and the depiction of their specifical peculiarities. The symptoms of alcohol withdrawal syndrome were evaluated between two groups of alcoholics: ?with? and ?without? suicidal ideation. In addition, groups of alcoholics were evaluated toward ?the phenomenon of the death?.
