Abstract
In the given work a comparative evaluation of the effect of preparations obtained from biomass of cellular ginseng cultures and ferny polysciasis, on biochemical coefficients of some interstitial kinds of metabolism, in particular, carbohydrate metabolism (glycogen and pyruvate concentration in liver and a skeletal muscle, glucose concentration in blood), protein metabolism (creatinine and urea concentration in blood serum) and electrolyte metabolism (K and Na levels in blood) in laboratory animals with modeled hyperthyroxinemia, is given. The obtained data indicate a protective effect of preparations of fytoadaptogens against thyroxin intoxication. By a majority of controlled parameters, a protective effect is most vivid in preparations obtained from ferny polysciasis biomass.
