Abstract
This paper focuses on energy intensity of bus transport vehicles. It aims at reviewing of selected energy parameters in public bus transport, at measurement of fuel consumption when operated by two different bus drivers on the same line, and finally at comparing fuel consumption by both drivers in particular months. A survey of fuel consumption in public bus transport lasted one year, and the results were recorded continuously. The paper comprises of the assessment of fuel consumption by both drivers as recorded in bus log books, followed by the comparison of fuel consumption. We can allege that the driver A drove for more days, travelled more kilometres, and saved more fuel than the driver B.
