RESEARCH OF A MOTIVATIVE STRUCTURE OF PERSONALITY OF DEPRESSED AND ONCOLOGIC PATIENTS
Journal: I.P. Pavlov Russian Medical Biological Herald (Vol.5, No. 34)Publication Date: 2004-12-08
Abstract
One of the important questions of psychooncology is: whether there is a connection between depression and cancer? The analysis of the literature shows that findings in this sphere are extremely contradictory. The authors examined two groups of cancer patients and one group of depressive patients by Szondi Test. The data demonstrate that the personality structure and dynamics of breast cancer patients is similar to depressive women's ones rather than to the personality structure and dynamics of patients with endometrial cancer.
