Abstract
Using a meshless radial basis function (RBF) method, functionally graded material is analyzed in this paper based on higher order shear deformation theory. Vibration response of functionally graded material plate (FGM) is presented using four different transverse shear functions. Hamilton's principle is used for Governing equation of the plate. Numerical results related to vibration of FGM plates are presented in the tables and graphs. Different theories taken here are compared based on the effect of grading index and span to thickness ratio.
