The application of ?Curiosin? for treatment external otitis

We investigated 45 patients with external otitis, which were separated on 3 groups by 15 patients. We used Curiosin in the experimental group, corticosteroid ointment in the first control group, 3 % solution of asid boricum in the second control group. Clinical value was carried out with otoscope, visual-analog scale and microbiological examination of Curiosin to prevent the growth of pathogenic microorganisms. Comparative analysis of these 3 groups showed, that Curiosin renders antiinflammatory action, owns of bacteriostatic effect and we may use it for treatment of external otitis as a start drug.
