Effect of Yogic Exercise on Selected Physiological Variables of School Boys

Abstract
Ogic Exercises is Indigenous; Yogic Exercises originated by India have been accepted by human Society for its innate values towards the improvement in human health. Yogic exercises have more impact on various physiological systems.
The study was designed to investigate the effect of yogic Exercises on selected physiological variable of school boys. To achieve the purpose boys were selected from GSSS Jandli kalan as subjects. They were divided into two groups i.e. non yogic exercises group (A) and yogic exercises group (B). Non yogic exercises group (A) was not given any training practice. Yogic exercise group (A)was Assigned yogic exercise for 10 weeks. Criterion variables were Blood pressure, pulse rate etc. All the dependent variable were assessed before and after training period of 10 weeks Analysis of covariance was assists to find out the post test mean difference among the group (B). Yogic exercises group (B) Showed significant reduction in systolic blood pressure (CD=0.70, P<0.01), significant reduction in pulse rate (C.D.=65, P<0.01).Group(A) did not show any significant differences in all variables.
