Abstract
The article refers to the phenomena in the structure of words and word formation, incorrect interpretation of which might lead to the misunderstanding of the essence of word-formative process and, consequently, to students’ mechanical learning of the educational material. Taking into account the described facts will help teachers to improve students understanding of the holistic nature of the language system, work successfully on the improvement of literacy and the expansion of students’ linguistic horizons. Errors, including incorrect result as the common root of related words, prefixes and suffixes as parts of speech that are before or after the root that impede the realization of functions of each morpheme. Also commenting inaccurate word creative patterns of words, which are involved in the formation of not one but two linguistic means.
