Abstract
In the article the paradigmatic confl icts of the historiography of the Russian revolutions of 1917 are revealed through the prism of scientifi c problems, ?the army in the revolutionary events of 1917?, analyzed the study in the period from 1917 to the mid 90-ies of the twentieth century. The author, using a wide range of historiographical sources, traces the formation of the main paradigmatic approaches to the study of the Russian revolutions of 1917, its army factor in particular and concludes that the most promising paradigm a basis of studying this problem since mid 90-ies becomes socio-cultural, psihomotornyi analysis of the Russian society of the revolutionary era
