Informational-Educational work among mental patients' relatives as a part of social rehabilitation

In the article the questions of development of educational programs for mental patients' families have been studied. We present the results of questioning of people, whose relatives have been admitted to Ryazan district clinical psychiatric hospital for inpatient treatment. The results obtained show the level of relatives' awareness of treatment modes, techniques of prevention of exacerbations, and their role in the treatment process of the patient. The importance of estimation of awareness of mental patients' relatives and working out of special psychoeducational programs for optimization and improvement of rehabilitation actions have been emphasized.
