Abstract
The soluble polysaccharide complex induces erythropoesis by increasing the rate of erythrocytes and hemoglobin in blood of experimental rats and changes the concentration of lymphocytes, leucocytes and monocytes. The following changes occur in blood of the experimental animals: increase in the rate of iron and iron-binding properties of serum as well as change in the rate of protein fractions. Polysaccharide of Amelanchier Medic causes the increase in the mass of spleen and changes in the mass of thymus of healthy animals.
