ONE - HUNDREDTH ANNINERSARY OF THE INTRAVENOUS ANESTHESIA CREATION

Abstract
In 2010 we celebrate the anniversary of intravenous anesthesia, which was invented 100 years ago. Professor N.P. Kravkov (1895-1924) was the first to suggest the use of intravenous anesthesia of gedonal in clinical practice. After successful tests of this anesthesia he suggested a new method of combined anesthesia: inhalation of chloroform for maintenance of anesthesia after intravenous agent gedonal administration
