Abstract

This paper presents an empirical study that proposes a modified technology acceptance model to explore students' attitude toward an e-learning system. The research chose the"Wisdom Master Pro" as the target system. 100 students participated in the field survey. This research purposed a research model base on TAM, used drivers and barriers to predict user behavioural intention. The results were consistent with previous research. When the system is incompatible with users' personal values and provokes negative feelings, it will increase the inhibition from RTC to PU, further weakening the intention to use the system. The findings can be used for improving the design of e-learning, while providing information about change introduction and management in the field of education. The findings of this research can enhance the completeness of the researches of technology adoption and resistance. Also, the research results can provide those in charge of system promotion information on how to adjust the system for it to be successfully implemented.
