On the concept of extreme

The paper deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of modern problems with extreme positions and the use of the conceptual apparatus of the quantitative component of the problem. It is noted that to date there is no single point of view on the concept of "extreme" and his close concepts and definitions. It is shown that there should be a universal approach to the problem of the unity of which must be expressed through the rationale of quantitative characteristics of existing factors and performance responses of the body.
