Abstract
ABSTRACT In this paper we elaborated the study on perforated plate by numerical model by varying the holes geometrically . In this process we are going to analyze the velocity variation through the perforated plate and the comparison is done with the air filters which are incorporated in the automobile silencers as air filters which obstruct the impurities . In this approach the perforated plate has been designed and analyzed in CATIA V5 R19 and ANSYS R15 (FLUENT) module is considered. Keywords: perforated plate, velocity , fluent , automobiles.
