Abstract

The article is devoted to an actual problem directly related to the implemen- tation of the special educational needs of children with disabilities. As with normal develop- ment, the ratio of children with intellectual disabilities to the educational activity is having a major impact on its results. The article presents the author’s original technique, aimed at identifying the relationship of children to educational activities and the results of its testing in a special (correctional) school. Materials of this study can be useful for teachers involved in the training and education of mentally retarded younger pupils
