Abstract
ABSTRACT Opinion Statement Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is the most common of vestibular disorders, which is usually due to free-floating, misplaced otoliths that have inappropriately entered one of the semicircular canals of the inner ear. It can be diagnosed with great certainty, and in most patients, it can be cured with a simple physical therapy maneuver in which particles simply need to be moved out of the posterior semicircular canal and into a part of the ear where they do not cause symptom.
