Abstract
On the basis of anaysis of contemporary psychologica and -pedagogical literature the structure of intercultural competence of the foreign medical students as a pedagogical category has been defined. The structure of intercultural communicative competence consists of verbal and cognitive component, linguistic component, verbal and communicative component, metacommunicative component.The six interrelated components of the intercultural communicative competence development: linguistic, thematical, sociocultural, discourse, compensatory, educational have been distinguished
