Abstract
Analysis of scientific position about the concept of "sensitivity" is conducted, the features of primary school age as a sensitive period for the development of creative thinking of children are found out in the article. The difference between concepts "sensitive age" and "sensitive period" is showed and key attributes of creative thinking in younger scholars are stressed.
