Abstract
The concept of ?the food industry competitiveness? is generalized. The expediency of using matrix techniques for potentially competitive product groups of food industry in the global market is grounded. The classification of product groups in terms of food competition is proposed. The prospects and opportunities for the development of the food industry competitiveness of Ukraine in the conditions of integration processes are analyzed.
