Abstract
In the experiment on 78 female albino rats of mature age (8-10 months) was studied the content in the skin of neutral salt-soluble and total collagen when administered intradermally the drug "COLLOST gel" (Russia), comprising 7% of type I native collagen from the skin of cattle in glucose solution. The drug was administered three times the rate of 0.06 ml per kg body weight into the skin of the side surfaces of the body, after first removing the coat on day 1, 2 and 6 days after the first injection. The increase of content of neutral salt-soluble and total collagen fraction in the skin in a 3-5 weeks after the injection of the drug which characterized the activation of biosynthetic functions of dermal fibroblasts was found.
