Abstract

In samples from Bulgarian wet and dry flower bee pollen were identified P.agglomerans и P.agglomerans bgp 6. It was proposed the scheme for principal primary differentiation between Pantoea spp. and other microorganisms from the family Enterobacteriaceae (genus Salmonella, E.coli, Proteus vulgaris and Proteus mirabilis). This study investigated also the antibiotic susceptibility for 5 strains P.agglomerans и P.agglomerans bgp 6. It was found their sеnsitivity towards members of the main classes of antibiotics used therapeutically to treat bacterial infections in human medicine: ß-Lactam antibiotics (amoxicillin + clavulonic acid: 20/10 μg), aminoglycosides (gentamycin), amphenicols (chloramphenicol), tetracyclines (doxicyclin), fluoroquinolones (enrofloxacin) and cephalosporins (cephalotin). We conclude that the risk of transfer of bacterial antibiotic resistance with found in flower bee pollen P.agglomerans is remote.
