Abstract
A research work was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of different levels of sulphur and FYM individually and interaction of both on yield components and oil content of groundnut during kharif season of 2006 in eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh at SHIATS, Allahabad, India. Twelve treatments were replicated thrice and distributed in R.B.D. Groundnut yield, yield attributes were significantly affected with application of different levels of sulphur and higher values of studied yield parameters were found especially with application of 20 kg S/ha. Interaction effect between sulphur and FYM application showed significant result on all the studied parameter. Higher pod yield, seed index, 100 pod weight, shelling percentage were recorded when the plants were supplied with 20kg S/ha + 10t FYM/ha along with Recommended Fertilizer Dose.
