Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of carburetor type spark ignition (SI) engine using gasoline- ethanol blends. The most captivating properties of ethanol as a SI engine fuel are that it can be produced from renewable energy sources such as agricultural feedstock and has high octane number (108) and flame speed.
