Abstract

In the lastyears in Poland, the intense development of the power supply technology and thecontrol systems of traction vehicles drives has been observed. The systemsdeveloped in Poland provide maximum efficiency and minimum energy losses duringtrain exploitation. In this paper we present the Train Control and MonitoringSystem (TCMS) simulator, which realizes complex and reliable service of asupervised unit. The simulator was designed and constructed within theframework of cooperation between the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technologyand Humanities in Radom and MEDCOM Ltd Company with head office in Warsaw. Thesimulator was installed in the Laboratory of the Ukrainian Academy of RailwayTransport in Kharkov under the project, which was co-financed within theframework of the program of Polish developmental cooperation by the Ministry ofForeign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
