Abstract
The observation problem for differential equations whose right-hand sides are linear functions with respect to unmeasured components of the phase vector is studied. A scheme of invariant manifold synthesis for determination of unknown quantities is developed. The method is based on a dynamic expansion of the original system and nonlinear methods of stabilization control. The problem of determining the gyrostat angular velocity on measurements of one of its projections is solved.
