Abstract
ABSTRACT The governing differential equations of skew plate utilizing first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) was discretized by multiqudratic radial basis functions and are used to predict the buckling behavior of isotropic skew plates. Effect of span to thickness ratio on the buckling response of thick and thin simply supported skew plate is presented. Numerical results obtained are in good agreement with other published results. Some new results are also obtained.
