In the 8 century B.C., a new threat emerged in the northern Blacksea area, Persia and Asia Minor (Anadolu). The Skhyts, who were mentioned in Asur and Urartian writtensources as “horseman tribes” were a real security problem in the borders of this states. Ancient Greek historians and georaphers like Herodotus, Thukydides, Xenophon and Strabo, do not tell all the history about Skhyts but they mention for different reasons, about the role played by the Skhyts in and around Asia Minor. The Skhyt war weaponry were found in Çavu
