USING MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY IN THE AUTHENTIC ECONOMIC ARTICLES

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the usage of medical terminology in the authentic economic texts. The aim of the study is to present an overall picture of special medical vocabulary functioning in the language and to trace its usage by way of specific examples. The main focus is on the causes of terms transition from one terminological system to the other, the characteristics of terminological systems and classification of terms by a wide range of usage in special practice are provided. The main part of the article comprises the analysis of news content in the English language related to economic downturn and ramifications of the crisis in different countries, where a frequent usage of medical terms with transfer of meaning can be found.
