Abstract
The article deals with the possibility of using Skype communication software for teaching students from remote regions of the Sakha Republic foreign languages with the help of native speakers. This approach allows online communication of students from the Republic’s remote locations with the people from all around the world, so that they come as close as possible to real life communication situations, which enhances motivation and quality of foreign language acquisition.
