Abstract
The article presents an original practice of literary and philosophical analysis of works by Stanisław Lem, a distinguished writer, futurologist and scientist. The object of analysis is the previously understudied within literary criticism topic of communication between intelligences of different origin. Based on the writer’s novels (“Eden”, “Solaris”, “His Master’s Voice”), the author of the article reflects on the possibilities of contact between space intelligences born under different stars and the factors preventing such contacts from succeeding.
