VIOLATION OF THE ARTICLE 152 OF THE CIVIL CODE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN RUSSIAN MASS MEDIA

The present scientific article is dedicated to the evaluation of judicial activity regarding the article 152 of the Russian Civil Code in the regions of the RF (violations of the article in mass media). The analysis involves materials published in Russian media that denigrate honour, dignity and business reputation of persons and legal entities. The lawsuits brought against mass media are taken from the website “Information-law database of Russian practice cases”: media-pravo.info. As examples for this article the materials from top regions in terms of judicial activity were selected, one from each region.
